Task Title:

Ad Creative Development – Collaborate with Content and Design Teams

Department:

Marketing / Creative Team / Digital Advertising

Responsible Parties:

  • Primary: Campaign Manager, Creative Director
  • Collaborators: Content Writers, Graphic Designers, Video Producers, Digital Strategists
  • Reviewer/Approver: Head of Marketing, Senior Creative Leads

Objective:

To create high-quality, compelling ad creatives that align with SayPro’s campaign objectives and resonate with the target audience. This involves collaboration between content creators and the design team to develop assets that are engaging, on-brand, and optimized for various advertising platforms.


Scope of Work:

1. Creative Brief Development

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to finalize the campaign goals, target audience, and key messaging.
  • Define the creative concept (e.g., brand awareness, product launch, lead generation).
  • Develop the Creative Brief, which should include:
    • Campaign objectives and key messages
    • Desired tone, style, and visuals
    • Target audience insights (demographics, behaviors, interests)
    • Ad formats and dimensions (for different platforms like Facebook, Google Ads, Instagram, etc.)

2. Content Development

  • Content Team to write ad copy, headlines, body text, and calls to action (CTAs).
  • Ensure that the messaging is concise, clear, and persuasive while aligning with the brand voice and campaign objectives.
  • Develop platform-specific ad copy variations:
    • Short copy for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
    • Longer copy for search and display ads (Google Ads, LinkedIn)
  • Develop attention-grabbing CTAs based on the campaign’s goal (e.g., “Shop Now,” “Learn More,” “Sign Up Today”).

3. Design Development

  • Design Team to produce visual assets that are high-quality, attention-grabbing, and on-brand.
  • Create the following creative types:
    • Static Ads: High-resolution images, banners, and display ads for platforms like Google Display Network and social media feeds.
    • Video Ads: Short-form and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook.
    • Carousel Ads: Multi-image ads for engaging users (e.g., for Instagram and Facebook).
    • Stories Ads: Full-screen, immersive ads for Instagram and Facebook Stories.
  • Ensure all creatives adhere to SayPro’s Brand Guidelines:
    • Logo usage, colors, typography, and overall visual style.
    • Mobile and desktop optimization (ad sizes for various devices).

4. Collaboration & Iteration

  • Regular meetings between the content and design teams to ensure alignment and that the creatives are meeting the campaign objectives.
  • Provide feedback loops:
    • Initial concepts for review
    • Mid-development drafts for further adjustments
    • Final versions for approval
  • Make adjustments to assets based on performance and platform requirements.
  • Conduct A/B testing (if applicable) to optimize copy and design elements.

5. Testing & Optimization

  • Test creative variations (e.g., different headlines, images, videos, or CTAs) across platforms.
  • Monitor early campaign performance and collaborate with the performance team to adjust creatives based on metrics like click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and engagement.
  • Make creative tweaks or updates to improve ad performance (e.g., optimizing videos, adjusting image sizes, changing CTAs).

6. Finalize and Submit for Approval

  • Ensure that the creative assets are finalized and approved by all stakeholders (e.g., campaign managers, creative leads, legal teams, etc.).
  • Deliver final assets to the platform managers or digital advertising team for deployment.
  • Store final approved assets in the SayPro Creative Repository for future use or adaptation.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Ad Creative Brief (a comprehensive document outlining messaging, design style, target audience, and campaign objectives).
  • Creative Assets including:
    • Static images (Google Display, Facebook, Instagram)
    • Video ads (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok)
    • Carousel and Stories ads (Instagram, Facebook)
    • Any copy and headlines used for each ad format
  • A/B Testing Results (if applicable)
  • Final Approved Creatives (stored in creative repository)

Timeline:

  • Creative Brief Draft: By [Insert Date]
  • First Draft Review (content and design): By [Insert Date]
  • Mid-Development Feedback: By [Insert Date]
  • Final Approval and Asset Delivery: By [Insert Date] (at least 1 week before campaign launch)

Review & Approval Process:

  • Initial Review: Campaign Manager, Creative Director
  • Final Approval: Head of Marketing, CMO
  • Final Deliverables: Sent to Digital Advertising Team and uploaded to the Creative Asset Repository.
