Overview:
The SayProCKG School Food Gardening and Agriculture Competition is a national campaign to motivate and reward schools that demonstrate excellence, creativity, and commitment in food gardening, agricultural innovation, and environmental sustainability. The competition uses mapping, tracking, and storytelling tools to showcase the progress of each participating school, encouraging nationwide learning, pride, and collaboration.
Competition Objectives:
Encourage learners and educators to establish and maintain productive school food gardens.
Promote climate-smart and organic agriculture practices in schools.
Build awareness of green technologies and sustainable food systems.
Create a national database/map of active school-based agricultural projects.
Recognize innovation and impact through awards, media coverage, and scholarships.

Recognizes schools that sell produce and reinvest profits sustainably.
Best Garden Storytelling Project
For schools that use photos, videos, blogs, or posters to tell the story of their gardening journey.
Most Improved Garden
Awarded to schools that showed significant progress from a basic to a thriving garden.
Community Engagement Champion
For schools that involve parents, local farmers, and organizations in their garden projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
Schools participating in the SayProCKG Food Gardening Programme or any food/agriculture initiative.
Must submit a minimum of three progress reports during the competition period.
Must have an active school garden club with learner involvement.
Must upload garden details to the SayProCKG National Garden Map Platform.
