Distinguished guests, SayPro partners, members of the Royal Committee, colleagues, friends, and champions of inclusion,

Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening.

It is my privilege to join you today as we come together to mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2025, here at SayPro Midrand Headquarters and across all our global platforms.

As a Non-Executive Member of the SayPro Royal Committee, I speak not only as a steward of governance, but also as a voice for accountability, ethics, and inclusive growth.

Today is more than a commemoration. It is a commitment—a commitment to ensuring that no one is left out, left behind, or left in silence.

Accessibility is not simply about physical ramps or digital captions—it is about human dignity. It is about removing the invisible walls that prevent millions from fully participating in education, employment, technology, and civic life.

This year’s GAAD theme, “Designing for Dignity,” reminds us that inclusion must be intentional. It must be built in from the start, not added later as an afterthought. And it must reflect the lived experiences and expertise of people with disabilities themselves.

At SayPro, we are proud to continue investing in:

  • Inclusive youth development programmes,
  • Accessible digital infrastructure and tools,
  • Community education and awareness campaigns, and
  • Strategic partnerships that elevate disability rights across Africa and the world.

As a Non-Executive Member, I can confidently say that accessibility is not just a programme here—it is a principle that guides our governance and decisions. It is how we shape policies, allocate resources, and measure impact.

However, let us be clear: progress is not a destination—it is a process. One that requires continuous engagement, courageous leadership, and collaboration across sectors.

To every person living with a disability:
We honour your resilience.
We value your voice.
And we stand with you—not just today, but every day.

To our partners in government, civil society, business, and education:
Let’s lead together. Let’s innovate with inclusion in mind. Let’s build systems where everyone can belong, contribute, and thrive.

Because accessibility is not a favour—it is freedom, fairness, and the foundation of a just society.

As we close this year’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day celebration, let it be a beginning, not a conclusion. Let it spark actions that are tangible, measurable, and lasting.

Let us design, invest, and lead with dignity—for all.

Thank you, and may we continue working toward a world where every barrier is broken, every voice is heard, and every person is included.

Happy GAAD 2025. Together, we build a future without limits.
