Neftaly Malatjie, CEO of the South African Youth Project (SayPro), proudly represented the organisation at the City of Johannesburg’s Invitation for Stakeholder Participation: Youth Skills Development Seminar. The event brought together key leaders, organisations, and policy-makers committed to advancing skills development and economic opportunities for young people across the city.
As a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, Mr. Malatjie shared SayPro’s innovative approaches to skills training, job readiness, and entrepreneurship development. His participation reinforced SayPro’s ongoing role as a key stakeholder in shaping youth-focused strategies and solutions.
“It was an honour to represent SayPro and contribute to such a meaningful dialogue,” said Mr. Malatjie. “We are encouraged by the City of Johannesburg’s commitment to youth development and are excited to collaborate with other stakeholders in building a future where all young people have the opportunity to thrive.”
The seminar served as a platform to align efforts across sectors, discuss best practices, and explore actionable solutions to address youth unemployment and skills gaps in Johannesburg.
SayPro remains committed to working alongside government and community partners to scale impactful programmes and ensure sustainable outcomes for South Africa’s youth.
